Our Commodities Brokerage activity emerged as a complement to our engineering, project finance and business development activities in the fields of energy, recycling, bio fuels and infrastructures since part of the planning for this type of project is securing the procurement of the necessary raw materials.

At Mencey we tend to focus on commodities that offer some form of added value or synergies with our other activities, typically raw materials that are either an input or output of a given project, mandate or sector that we are involved in:

• Raw materials related to energy and agriculture, petroleum and petroleum products, gas, coal, liquid and solid biomass (wood, vegetable oils, etc.), fertilizer, ethanol, biofuels, etc.
• Recycling materials, tires, EBS, metal, plastics, industrial waste, municipal solid waste, HMS, etc.
• Construction materials, mainly cement and metals.
