Jorge Dorta
Jorge Dorta began his career as a private client portfolio manager with Fibanc and later moved to securities broker All Trading Broker Europe AV as an institutional foreign exchange broker. He then joined the treasury department of Landesbank Baden Wuerttemberg in Stuttgart where he spent several years as a sales-trader in Eurobonds and proprietary trader in international fixed income instruments, including currency and interest rate credit risk management. In 2004 Jorge co-founded EnergyONE, a company headquartered in England and dedicated to the development and promotion of international renewable energy projects.

Jorge’s education includes a bachelor in Business Management with a major in Finance at the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, a Master in Portfolio Management at the Instituto de Finanzas Avanzadas in Madrid (known today as Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles) and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst diploma obtained at the CAIA in Boston, Massachusetts.

Jorge has ample experience in consulting and alternative investments, having worked for clients active in various sectors such as energy, recycling, bio-fuels, natural resources, transport, the hedge fund sector and venture capital.

Alessandro Pelizzon
Alessandro Pelizzon obtained a bachelor in Business Management with a major in Finance from the University of Geneva and began his career at Lombard, Odier & Cie in Geneva. He moved on to get an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration of the University of Virginia.

Alex then joined UBS and spent a few years as a proprietary trader and sales-trader (equities, fixed income derivatives and foreign exchange in London, Zurich and Geneva) before co-founding DynaCapital SA, an asset management company focused on alternative investments, in 1999.

Alex has extensive experience in consulting including the creation of several financial intermediaries, asset managers, offshore and onshore funds and experience in financial sector regulation and compliance, credit and insurance brokerage, fiduciary services, real estate and construction.
